Thursday, October 29th, 2009All Saints’ Sunday
What does it mean to take the long view? How does our work participate with all the saints?
This All Saints’ Sunday as we remember those who have died, especially in the past year, we will reflect on Psalm 146 and how through God’s solidarity with the oppressed, we participate in God’s work to change the world. You’ll enjoy the stories Scott plans to share during the sermon.
Also, this week will continue our 10th anniversary year testimonies as Tom McDonald shares about the Kevin McLemore years.
Join us for worship at 6:00 p.m. & Pie Supper at 7!
We will also have free Flu Shots Sunday night after church!

Thursday, October 29th, 2009Scarf Sewing Tuesday
Tuesday, November 3 at 7 p.m. we’ll be sewing scarves for the students of Wilson Elementary School. You don’t have to be a sewer, there is plenty of cutting, which is what most of us spend the time doing. We’ll snack and fellowship while we work; it is always a really fun time. We will work at Michael and Scott’s house, 324 NW 30th St.

The UCC is encouraging members to be involved in marriage equality advocacy. Help get out the vote on November 3
In Maine and Washington, we continue to campaign for marriage equality and the legislature that will be decided by voters on November 3. There are many opportunities to show your support in both states by helping to get out the vote.
